We've sent off for our Visas and have plane/hotel reservations made leaving one week from today, Saturday, June 28th. We're not 100% confirmed, so something could still change, but the good news is..... we know who she is! That's right! We know she's a beautiful euro-Asian little girl with big, dark eyes! That's all I can say right now but trust me... we're very excited!
Now that we're (hopefully) getting closer to officially meeting Baby Jill, it's time to make the blog private. What that means is you'll need an invitation to view the blog and you'll log in with your userid & password. It's really no big deal but we're not at liberty to publicly post any information about Baby Jill until she's really ours, which won't be until after the 10-day wait which happens after a successful court hearing. We are thinking that will be mid to late August barring any unforeseen circumstances. We want to keep everyone updated as we move along the Journey for Jill and the only way to do so is to make the blog private. So, I'll be sending out an invite to "join" our blog on Wednesday or Thursday of next week. If you were on our original email telling you about our blog, you'll automatically receive the invite. If you'd like an invite but joined us later (ie: through a friend/web/or we were rude & forgot you), please send me an email at slgiddens@sbcglobal.net.
As with Jacob's adoption, my sister, her husband & my parents are totally coming through for us with childcare. They'll be moving in to our house Friday and then take the kiddos to the lake for the upcoming 4th holiday. We've said many times before, but it should be said again, how much we appreciate their support!
